“With every New Year comes the opportunity to begin again. Take this opportunity and run with it.” ~Lisa Merlo-Booth
This past year has been a tough one for many people, if not most. Far too many families have lost jobs, loved ones, and daily connections. People of all ages feel isolated, anxious, and depressed for more days than they care to admit. And it’s fair to say, that by all accounts, 2020 has been an incredibly hellacious year.
This week, however, we ring in the New Year. We get to say good-bye to one of the most challenging years on record and turn our gaze forward. Fortunately, each New Year brings forth an opportunity for new hope, brave change, and new beginnings. The year 2021 is no exception.
This year, take the time to regroup. Grieve your losses. Rest from the daily grind. Tune in to the things that truly matter in your life. Courageously let go of the dead weight, bad habits, and harmful thinking that got in your way in 2020. Be mindful of where you want to focus your time and attention, and plan to do so. Trust, that inch-by-inch, you will reach your goals and proudly celebrate each step along the way.
Challenge: Wishing you an excellent 2021! May it be filled with good health, much prosperity, and loving, life-long connections. You’ve got this. We’ve all got this.
